Winneberg
The Community of Winneberg is located in Calhoun County, IL, a long peninsula located between the Mississippi and Illinois Rivers. Much if the county could be considered an island between the two rivers. The northern border that connects to Pike County is approximately 17 miles long.
Calhoun County has a variety of local attractions to offer visitors: apple & fruit orchards, the Kampsville Archaeological Museum, eagle watching and fantastic site seeing along the rivers, just to name a few.

The Community of Winneberg is located in the southern most part of Calhoun. Residents can view the river from the bluffs and look into St. Charles County, MO on the other side.
Some of the amenities Winneberg offers include a full service membership club with pool, restaurant, bar and exercise room. In addition a full service marina is being planned for a mid 2009 opening.
